I have been waiting to try this foundation for a few months now since i seen it used by a few American you-tubers! I think i bought it the day after it was released but only by accident as i happened to be in Boots. The packaging is beautiful, it’s sort of a pinky-purpley mirrored outside and opens like a chunky compact (see image). When opened it has a little compartment and inside is a foundation soaked sponge. I never used the sponge that it came with, i just dipped my brush straight in there! What initially attracted me to the foundation was the fact that it was so easily accessible. You don’t need to pump any on to your hand and you can just take as much as you need to use, i loved the idea of using this in the morning when i can barely function! The foundation itself is definitely light coverage, but build-able and has a lovely dewy finish. I have combination skin, so by the time I’d finished a 9 hour shift at work the foundation in my oily areas was pretty much gone but that’s usual for me (that’s also after setting it with a powder and using a setting spray). Overall this is a lovely foundation if your looking for light, natural coverage, maybe even something sturdy to take away on holiday. I bought mine when it had just been released at the introductory price of £7.99, it is currently £14.99 and i have linked some places where you can purchase this below.
I’ve owned this foundation for about 2 months now and i wouldn’t say i had used it an awful lot – i feel as if i am already 3/4 of the way through it! In fact, the last time i used it i had to remove the sponge inside and apply it straight to my face as i just wasn’t getting any product with my brush. Not great value for money at all, and i would say if you wanted to use this as your daily foundation you could see yourself replacing it every month or so.
